Preliminaries
The road to the Aurora Cosplay Tournament begins here. Competitors around the Baltic Sea will first earn their place on the ACT stage through national qualifying events hosted by our partner conventions.
Below, you can find the participating countries and the events where the ACT preliminary rounds will take place. Each event will select representatives (group of 2 to 4 cosplayers) who will get to compete on the Grand Final at Tracon, Finland.

Finland is the home of Aurora Cosplay Tournament, hosted by Tracon. Held in Tampere, Tracon is one of Finland's largest and oldest annual anime and roleplaying conventions with a wide variety of beloved cosplay competitions and programmes - attracting a large audience and talented competitors for over 20 years.
Finland's representative for Aurora Cosplay Tournament 2027 was selected at Tracon 2026.
Representing Denmark is J-popcon (Copenhagen), the country's largest convention dedicated to Japanese pop culture and a long-standing hub for Danish cosplay enthusiasts. J-popcon has been bringing fans together for over 25 years through cosplay, anime, manga, gaming and cultural programming.
Denmark's representatives for Aurora Cosplay Tournament 2027 will be selected at the Danish Cosplay Championship, hosted as a part of J-popcon 2027.
